\nSalary: £37,318.00 (additional shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n\nInterpreting engineering drawings\nMarking – off materials\nPlate perpetration, using different methods (Oxy – fuel gas cutting & Hand Grinding)\nAssembling of ships structures, shell, decks, bulkheads, frames, & longitudinals\nFit, fair and tack weld steelwork using fairing aids\nFabrication of ship items – seats, ladders, false flooring & panels\nOutfitting Ships items, fitting of hatches, watertight doors, equipment seats & false flooring\nForming Material using machine tools – Rolling, Flanging & Cutting Machines (guillotine, cropper mechanical saw)\nPreparing ship for float-off & ship sea trials\n\nYour skills and experiences:
\n\nModern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade Papers (you will be required to provide papers) and minimum SVQ 3 or equivalent\nCurrent knowledge and experience in Fabrication\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes\nClear understanding of SHE and Risk Assessment\nComfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height\nSafety certification i.e.
SHE Induction, Risk Assessment, working at height etc.\nBackground in a major construction / manufacturing environment\n\nPlease ensure you have attached a copy of your qualifications when submitting your application.
