About Us:
Buy It Marketplace is an emerging platform aimed at connecting small local businesses with a broader audience. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to join our marketing team and help us reach new businesses, inviting them to join our marketplace. This project focuses on engaging small local businesses, making them the primary target audience.
Tasks Lead Generation: Visit businesses in London and call local businesses to introduce them to our marketplace and encourage them to visit our website to join the waiting list.
In-Person Engagement: After the official release in early August, visit businesses in person to invite them to list their products on our marketplace.
Communication Maintenance: Track all interactions and maintain active engagement with potential and existing business clients, ensuring follow-up and building relationships.
Performance Analysis: Assist in analyzing engagement and response rates to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach strategies with broader marketing goals and initiatives.

This is an unpaid position.
Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively engage with businesses.
Comfortable with visiting businesses in London and conducting cold calls.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
