Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer (Outside IR35) Location: Remote (Northern Ireland/Ireland) Contract Duration: 3 months (initially) Day Rate: Competitive, Outside IR35 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a greenfield project on a 3-month contract, working remotely in Northern Ireland with occasional meetings onsite.
We're looking for a professional with a strong background in Azure DevOps and over 8 years of experience who can lead the strategy and delivery of this critical project element.
Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the DevOps strategy, ensuring optimal design and outcomes for the project.
Implement Azure DevOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing.
Collaborate closely with the team and client to align project objectives with business goals.
Provide guidance on DevOps processes, automation, and deployment workflows.
Key Requirements: 8+ years of experience in DevOps with strong expertise in Azure DevOps.
Proven track record in leading DevOps strategy and delivering results in greenfield or complex environments.
Solid knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM, Terraform).
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Containers experience not required; focus on CI/CD and Azure automation.
