Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Circet UK are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in our East Kilbride office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist with the preparation of AFPs for Altnet contracts.
• To assist with cost control on contracts, ensuring all subcontractor and DL claims are correct and allocated to the correct jobs and projects.
• Assisting with preparation of final accounts and retentions • Assisting with interim supplier account reconciliation • Liaise with subcontractors on the interim accounts.
• Operational link to help progress work • Any other commercial task that arises • Support for any other member of the team • Monitoring, control, preparation and agreement of EWs and CEs on Altnet contracts Knowledge & Skills Requirements: • Ability to make site documents to assist with costing.
• Ability to review and understand drawings.
• Good relationship building • Strong math and number skills • Excellent attention to detail • Analytical thinking skills • Understanding of engineering and technology • Knowledge of building and construction • Effective Communication skills including an excellent telephone manner Why work in Circet?
