Job summary We are seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma research group, based in Paradise Square, Oxford.
You'll work closely with Professor Anker Ehlers on clinical trials of psychological treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder and social anxiety disorder and their dissemination into the NHS.
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, in collaboration with University of Oxford have received funding from NIHR Invention for Innovation to further investigate how Internet Cognitive Therapy for PTSD (iCT-PTSD) and Internet Cognitive Therapy for Social Anxiety Disorder (iCT-SAD) compare with current NHS psychological treatment as usual when delivered by NHS staff to patients with comparable presentations.
This role will provide excellent experience of randomised controlled trials, working with NHS services and would suit individuals interested in going on to pursue a career in clinical psychology or clinical research.
