Our client, based in Manchester, is offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their team.
Job Summary: Review audit planning and fieldwork for charities (90%) and SMEs.
Complete audit files.
Train and develop staff.
Raise fee notes.
Handle ad-hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts and hands-on assistance with audit assignments.
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
Oversee the workflow of the department.
Ensure timely meeting of client, Companies House, and HMRC deadlines.
Review financial statements for charities and SMEs.
Desired Skills: Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified.
Strong communication skills with confidence in client interactions.
Competency in using Microsoft Excel.
Experience in using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH AP, and CCH AA (preferred, but not essential; full training provided).
Attention to detail.
