To support the provision of high quality income information to DivisionsTo support the Head of Income & Contracting in the negotiation, development and in-year monitoring of the contracts with Commissioners.To provide income advice and support to the Clinical DivisionsTo provide support on the development of an effective baseline for the negotiation of contracts Main duties of the job Provide support for the monthly reporting of the Trust's income position to DivisionResponsible for updating and inputting into the SLAM contract monitoring system.
Deal with any validation issues that arise from this reporting and put in place remedial action where appropriateProvide support to the Income team in pulling together the overall income position for the Trust Board ReportPreparing the monthly reporting information sent to Commissioners and internal stakeholdersResponsible for the on-going maintenance of the automation software used as part of the SLAM system and support the developmentsProvision of supplementary information to focus attention upon areas where remedial action is required to ensure delivery of targets and plans About us DBTH is one of Yorkshire's leading acute trusts, serving a population of more than 440,000.

Person Specification Qualifications/Training Essential Good general education including GCSE Maths and English at grade C / 4 or above Accounting related degree/AAT part qualified or equivalent experience Desirable Actively studying towards an AAT member or equivalent (NVQ level 5) Knowledge and Experience Essential Experience working in a finance function Effective working knowledge of management accounting Desirable NHS Experience Personal Attributes & Skills Essential Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
