As an assistant Ecologist you will have the opportunity to be part of something special, to help scale the company, as well as develop your own sector specialisms, in a progressive and supportive environment.
You will work on complex, high-profile and exciting projects with nationally significant businesses within the construction, retail, infrastructure sectors, as well as supporting the third sector with real and lasting environmentally positive change.
You will also;Undertake protected species surveysProduce technical reports with training (PEA and PRA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.
)Managing small-medium sized projects, with support from senior managementSeeking someone with:6months - 1 year+ of industry experienceA degree in ecology or similar based subject and working understanding of relevant legislation, planning policies and licensing regulationsFull UK drivers licence and use of your own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)Good communication skills, specifically written English and report writing skills, assimilating ecological data and presenting relevant information wellEnergetic and willingness to undertake practical work and office based work.
