!We are looking on behalf of our client for an experienced accounts professional to join a large franchised dealer group.
This position would be ideal for a very experienced Accounts Assistant looking for their next step, or for an Assistant Accountant at a small dealership wanting to take the next step into a bigger Assistant Accountant role.Your responsibilities would include: Assistance in ensuring sound financial controls and processes are maintained within the dealership across all departmentsReview of all elements of working capital, discussing any areas of concern with Department Managers and updating the central credit control team and FC where applicableCompletion of the manufacture compositesCalculation and collation and payroll elements Ensure all inter company ledgers balancePreparation and maintenance of certain balance sheet reconciliationProcessing of head office rechargesProcessing vehicle depreciation journalsPreparation for Month end ledger closuresFull ownership of manufacture debt and ensuring timely paymentGeneral cover of accounting duties in the absence of the FC, especially being able to carry out the weekly forecasting This role would suit: Accounts assistants, assistant accountants
