Ancala Water Services is a private utilities company providing clean and wastewater services to over 1,000 Ministry of Defence sites across England and Wales.
And with our network covering a third of the UK, weve got a big job on our hands to ensure our sites run as efficiently as possible.
Joining the high-performing Asset Management team, youll be responsible for helping to manage the Water and Wastewater assets and infrastructure across our estate.
Your data-driven insights and analytical skill will guide business decisions and youll enjoy the challenge of identifying areas for improvement, with the support of a skilled and tight-knit team.
What Youll Be Doing: Developing technical solutions for identifying opportunities and risks associated with the supply and sale of water Creating robust plans for our field-based teams and ensuring flow and pressure data is accurate and always available Analysing Water Supply, Consumption and Leakage data and presenting this to internal and external stakeholders to inform decision-making Taking ownership of engaging and liaising with stakeholders and regulators to ensure compliance with the contractual requirements for measurement arrangements Engaging with the wider business on reporting strategy and developing an innovative suite of reporting dashboards Develop and promote solutions for sites failing the required accuracy performance standard and also improving the overall accuracy of consumption measurement What Youll Bring: Subject matter expertise in water and wastewater distribution networks and leakage measuring Technical knowledge of water demand and cost forecasting, along with water company tariff structures Advanced IT and statistical analysis skills with experience of developing reports and dashboards First-class written and verbal communication skills with experience of stakeholder management and the ability to influence both technicaland non-technical people Experience of asset management systems and databases (e.g.
INFOR, ORACLE, SAP, WaterNet) The ability to think creatively, be solutions-focused and resilient in your work About you: Due to the nature of sites on which we operate, the successful candidate must: Meet the security clearance requirements for the role which includes, but is not limited to, the successful candidate being a full-time resident of the UK for the past 5 years Youll need your own transport and be able to travel independently to our sites when required.
