JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager - labelling machinery, processing machinery, packaging machinery, capital equipment As our Area Sales Manager, you will split your time to manage existing accounts in your area (80%), as well as grow your portfolio by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities (20%).
You will maintain long standing and often slow burning relationships, and consult with your clients to find them a solution from our range of "off the shelf" equipment as well as bespoke, new build units up to complete lines.
Order values will range from £5,000 to £100,000 with a typical value of £25,000 and lead times of between 6 weeks and 6 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager - labelling machinery, processing machinery, packaging machinery, capital equipment · Maintain existing accounts and relationships.
· Develop portfolio to grow your area of responsibility.
· Arrange consultation meetings, conduct site surveys and present products.
· Lead negotiations to maximize profitability from sales achieved.
· Attend exhibitions.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager - labelling machinery, processing machinery, packaging machinery, capital equipment To be considered for this job you will be: · Experienced within the food, cosmetic, healthcare or pharmaceutical process/packaging machinery industry.
· Experience with large ticket, medium lead time capital equipment.
· Ability to engage technically, with an engineering background/understanding.
· Self-motivated and target driven.
· Passionate about sales and the ability to be a brand ambassador.
· Full UK driving license is required.
