Amazing Legal Counsel opportunity – Global Tech Giant- London/Hybrid Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a TMT/Tech or corporate M&A Associate who is looking to make the transition in-house.
You will advise on a range of digital, technology, and commercial matters, including the roll out of global transformation projects and the procurement services.
You will partner with the business units and legal team members to provide practical advice and solutions on commercial issues and support the business respond to a quickly evolving landscape.
Candidates must be keen to learn and be experienced in finding practical and commercial solutions to complex business challenges.
The role can be very varied.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to be involved in all areas of commercial law including technology, AI, compliance from contract drafting to advising on data use in AI solutions and complying with global laws.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in technology, data protection and privacy as well as a natural inclination to think creatively and approach challenges from different perspectives.
The ideal candidate will: Be passionate about data, technology and innovation with at least 2 years' experience.
(This is a guide only and other PQE levels will be considered) Have a pro-active, can-do attitude with a commercial mind and a skill for problem solving.
Have strong academics with law firm training and post qualification experience.
Have experience and an in-depth understanding of the data regulatory landscape in Europe.
Have a real interest in developing a focus in privacy, data protection and AI.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Have the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Experience of working within a complex multinational business or high-quality legal practice with international work.
Finally, the role is London based with hybrid working.
2/3 days a week in the office with no fixed days.
