Aircraft Fitter

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for Airframe/Engine Fitters for rolling contracts in Cambridge.
£30.74 ph umbrella plus uplifts for any shifts, overtime or fuel tank work.
Hours - 37 per week, overtime dependant on workload, not guaranteed Mon-Thur days - shift work not guaranteed Job Description To carry out maintenance, modifications and repairs to aircraft structure & mechanical systems in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation.
Actively support, promote and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and activity to ensure that progressive gains in efficiency are maintained.
Qualifications Completion of a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or a relevant higher education qualification Experience of Engineering within a maintenance environment The ability to work individually as well as within a team across all functions on site, demonstrating a pro active and flexible attitude and supporting business targets and Company goals You must have an eye for "Continuous Improvement" Attention to detail and be self-motivated Enthusiastic attitude, coupled with good teamwork & communication skills GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English Good knowledge of H & S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH Structural repairs experience preferable Electrical Qualification advantageous but not essential.
