We are excited to invite skilled professionals to join our Birmingham Hangar team as an Aircraft Base Maintenance Planner .
In this critical role, you will be part of the Operations Team, focusing on delivering top-notch aircraft and engine-related services to a growing customer base.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating and processing work packages, planning maintenance activities, and ensuring seamless operations in compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities Work Package Processing: Timely and accurate preparation of customer-supplied work packages, ensuring they are formatted for use within the maintenance environment.
System Integration: Import and manage customer work packages within the company's computer systems, attaching all necessary maintenance data, documents, and drawings.
Maintenance Planning: Identify key milestones, including parts, tooling, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with resource teams to ensure adequate manpower for workload demands.
Manage third-party requirements, such as NDT, aircraft reweighs, and cleaning.
Schedule tasks with consideration for Human Factors and safety-critical inspections, such as CDCCL, EWIS, and independent checks.
Auditing and Reporting: Perform comprehensive audits of completed work packages to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Scan and return completed packages to customers within agreed SLA guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Support Line/Base Check Managers during maintenance inputs.
Attend daily meetings and lead Pre-Input meetings for Light Base Maintenance.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Documentation: Raise and update late additions to work packages, ensuring all index entries are current.
Additional Duties: Undertake tasks as requested by the Planning Manager.
Qualifications & Skills Required Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel and Word.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in the aerospace sector.
Preferred: Experience in a PART-145 and PART-M Planning environment.
Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance.
