Agricultural Property Solicitor 0-2PQE Top 100 UK Law Firm Oxford A top-tier law firm is seeking an Agricultural Property Solicitor to join its highly respected and expanding team in Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading teams in agricultural and rural property law, renowned for its expertise and outstanding client service.
About the Team The firm's Agricultural Property team is ranked Top Tier in both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners and is recognised as one of the largest and most highly regarded standalone teams in the region.
The team acts for a diverse client base, including some of the UK's largest estates, farmers, landowners, and educational institutions.
The Oxford-based team operates as part of the firm's broader Real Estate department and works closely with specialists in tax, trusts, agricultural litigation, planning, and environmental law.
Headed by a nationally recognised expert ranked as a Leading Individual in Chambers & Partners (2024) and The Legal 500 (2024) , the team delivers top-tier legal advice and handles high-value, complex transactions.
About the Role The successful candidates will work on a variety of agricultural and development matters, including: Sales and acquisitions of farmland, estates, and rural properties.
Negotiating Promotion and Collaboration Agreements for large-scale developments.
Advising on agricultural finance and refinancing transactions.
Supporting clients with renewable energy schemes, diversification projects, and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities Delivering high-quality legal advice to rural clients on a range of property matters.
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service.
Managing financial performance, including accurate time recording and achieving targets.
Contributing to business development initiatives to grow the practice.
Staying up-to-date on legal and sector-specific developments.
Playing an active role in the team's collaborative and supportive culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Relevant experience in agricultural or property law, with strong synergies to the role.
A commercial mindset and the ability to understand and meet client needs.
Proven ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Technical expertise and proficiency with IT systems, including case management software.
A proactive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.
