We are looking for a dedicated Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner with specialised experience in orthopaedic surgery to join our team.

Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with orthopaedic experience Valid registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Minimum 6 months of experience in a Scrub role, with expertise in major orthopaedic procedures Strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgical protocols, sterile techniques, and specialised equipment Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under pressure Responsibilities: Prepare the operating theatre specifically for major orthopaedic procedures, ensuring all required equipment and orthopaedic instruments are ready and sterile Provide expert assistance to surgeons during complex orthopaedic surgeries, including passing instruments and handling specific orthopaedic tools Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment tailored to orthopaedic care Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful surgical outcomes Mentor and guide junior staff, sharing specialized orthopaedic knowledge and expertise If you're a highly qualified Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner eager to make a difference in patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
