- Initial 3 month fixed term contract- Social work background required- Salary up to £26,000 pro rata plus travel costs A reputable organisation is looking for an Advocate/Social Work professional to cover their Northumberland region.
The role will be responsible for visiting clients in care homes to ensure they are happy with surroundings, have a representative and that care plans are in place.
Duties will include:- Supporting clients to help them understand their rights-Working in line with legislation across mental health, care and human rights acts.- Ensure care provided is within the clients best interests- Raise any safeguarding concerns To be considered suitable you will need the following skills/experience:- Ability to commute to care homes in the Northumberland region (mileage costs covered)- Social care background and understanding of legislation- Experience in advocacy would be advantageous JBRP1_UKTJ
