More detail about the role An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a skilled, experienced physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health to join the Therapy service at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Eastern Services).
This permanent, full time, Advanced Physiotherapist position ( hours per week) is predominantly based in the outpatient setting but carries, on occasions, a requirement to provide appropriate management of some in-patient cases.
The position involves providing highly specialist assessment and treatment to a dedicated complex caseload in the speciality of pre-and post-natal MSK, gynaecology/pelvic pain and male health problems.
It is essential that interested candidates possess significant post qualification experience in providing Physiotherapy to female patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
The position also supports the training of more junior staff to help develop an appropriately skilled workforce and will work closely with the Head of Acute Physiotherapy to support opportunities for service development.
