Excellent opportunity for an ANP in the Rainham area to work in primary care.
This is a primary care GP practice in the Rainham area which is now seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work across its two sites.
The role is well suited to an ANP who has previously worked within primary care, as it is quite a small practice which will require autonomous working.
The wider team is led by GPs, and there are Nurses and PCN staff who support the clinical workload.
As an ANP you will be working closely with the GP team, independently reviewing patients and prescribing medicines.
You will see a mix of patients who present with on the day/acute cases, and you will also have some reviews with ongoing patients.
You will primarily be dealing with on the day patients who are triaged to you for things like Minor Injuries and Minor Illnesses.
The practice uses EMIS and a mixture of telephone/face to face appointments.
