Main duties of the job We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to lead our echocardiography education programme at University Hospital Southampton.
This advanced level role demands a highly experienced, organised, and motivated individual, with a passion for teaching.We are a vibrant and diverse department, with BSE departmental accreditation in transthoracic, transoesophageal, stress echocardiography, and training.

Job description Job responsibilities Your time will be split between performing and reporting high quality adult echocardiograms to BSE standards, organising and maintaining a programme of echocardiography training, and expert level teaching, supervision and mentorship for those training in post holder will be expected to teach and support junior members of our team through BSE Level 2 accreditation, as well as support specialist registrars and other healthcare professionals in obtaining various levels of proficiency.
An active involvement in the British Society of Echocardiography accreditation process is desirable.
