Job summary Due to the retirement of a long standing member of our team we are looking to recruit an administrator to aid with all aspects of recall management, audit and data collection and to support our clinical team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be pivotal in an evolving role within the practice.
Main duties of the job Ensure that recall letters are sent to patients for them to have all the appropriate tests done and book in to be seen for their long-term conditions, medication monitoring, vaccinations and all other ad hoc tests.

About us Overdale Medical Practice has a list size of 12,000 patients covering a number of villages between Nottingham and Derby.
We have a well established and supportive administrative and reception team, aiding a large clinical team consisting of nine GPs, three advanced clinical practitioners, a long term condition team and practice nurses.
As will as an in house pharmacy team, MSK specialist and social prescribers.
Job description Job responsibilities Main Duties/Key Tasks:Workwith the admin and management team to increase prevalenceof disease registersto ensure that all work is being appropriately claimed forEnsurethe efficient running of the practice disease registers, carrying out searches,audits and recalls as required.Reviewthe recall system and potentially lead the implementation of a new systemMaintainrecalls to ensure they are updated regularly.Workwith the clinical staff to ensure all QOF targets have been met before movingon recalls.Checkaccurate read coding of patients records and liaise with clinical staff to haveamended as needed.Ensurethe appropriate blood/urine forms are generated within the ICE system andincluded within the patients invite.Ensurepatients identified as needing a recall are contacted by either SMS, email,letter or telephone in a timely manner and invites are read coded in thepatients record.Supportthe practice in maximising achievement of QOF, IIF, DES and other practicetargets by working closely with the admin and management team.
Managethe recalls of any patients requiring ad hoc recalls as required.Registernew patients, upload patient registration questionnaire and ensure recalls areadded and up to date.Workclosely with the Pharmacy team to ensure Shared care monitoring is in place andensure any medication monitoring is kept up to date.Supportingthe pharmacy and clinical team as requiredUnderstandthe different timescales for patients vaccinations and ensure patients areinvited to attend as required.Managevaccination campaigns such as influenza and covid Supportthe team in producing data for auditsCarehome co-ordinationCoil/ implant waiting listsThis is not an exhaustive list and may be changed from time to time as necessaryConfidentiality:In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters.
