Job DescriptionChildren, Education and Justice ServicesAdministrative OfficerDrummond Community High SchoolSalary: £28, - £32, (pro rata for sessional)Hours: 36 per week, 40 weeks sessionalWe are recruiting for an experienced , motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Officer to join our busy school office administration team.Drummond Community High School is a fully comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school based in Edinburgh city centre.

Our pathways of support are designed to ensure that every young person develops their academic potential, talents, interests and abilities and we offer a wide range of opportunities across the curriculum from S1 to S6 to prepare learners for their future positive destination.The school is located very close to the centre of Edinburgh, with some parking however also excellent transport links via tram, bus and train, to all areas of the city and surrounding areas.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act .
The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
You will be required to provide this check.
