Do you have an interest in improving the service that we as a District Nursing Team deliver to our patients throughout Hockley and Rochford District and beyond?If you have answered 'Yes' to the above questions then we have the job for you!EPUT Hockley District Nursing Team is looking for a dynamic addition to our administrative team who play an integral part in the clerical support of our District Nursing Team Main duties of the job To provide administrative support to the District Nursing ServiceTo provide comprehensive and effective secretarial and administrative support to the Senior District Nursing Team and frontline nursing staff within the District Nursing TeamTo communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain a professional image of the Trust at all times.To act as the primary point of contact for the Hockley District Nursing Team for internal and external communication, screening calls/visitors as appropriate.

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings.
Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank Job description Job responsibilities Please see attached Job description for a detailed view of main responsibilities To work as a member of the Directorates Administration Service ensuring that a high quality and efficient service is provided at all times, which may include giving support and providing cover in other areas as requested.
To operate as a centralised administration service providing a comprehensive administration service to support clinical services and functions within the Trusts localities.
The Administration Assistant will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using trust information systems.
The post holder will require a team approach to ensure cover for absence across all services / locations and the post holder will be required, on occasion, to relocate to provide this cover.
Person Specification Education / Qualifications Essential Good standard of general education (Five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English) IT skills equivalent to RSA3, NVQ2 or relevant experience of Microsoft Office packages Desirable European Computer Driving Licence qualification or equivalent Knowledge Essential Understanding and awareness of data protection and confidentiality Ability to communicate routine information both verbally and in writing Knowledge and understanding of general administrative processes Knowledge of Trust information systems Desirable Knowledge and understanding of medical / pharmaceutical terminology Skills / Experience Essential IT / Computer Literate / Able to send, manage and receive emails Methodical, organised approach to work with good attention to detail.
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines Desirable Previous Administrative Experience Previous Healthcare Experience Personal Qualities Essential Customer focused, with a calm and empathetic persona, good listener, patient and diplomatic Ability to engage with people of varying levels of seniority Flexible approach to working; ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload and use own initiative Desirable Ensures and understands the Trust's beliefs & that the organisational values are demonstrated and upheld Driving license, with access to a car and able to travel to other sites if required.
