Castle Retirement Village, based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire is on the lookout for an Admin / Receptionist to work 9:00-2pm Mon - Friday You will support both the General Manager in the efficient running of the Reception and to respond to requests from residents with courtesy and speed.
Duties: To answer incoming calls, taking messages and dealing with enquiries face to face and by email.
To deal sympathetically and efficiently with resident's queries, following procedures and reporting them to the Management team as required.
To help complete admin tasks such as posters, letter Writing And creating new welcome packs for residents Printing invoices and taking payments on front desk through an EPOS till system To control the issue and recording the return of all keys.
To be responsible for and control of the guest room bookings.
Assisting with procurement, auditing and ordering stationery, consumables and equipment.
To ensure that when both resident's and communal property problems arise they are reported speedily to the maintenance staff or, where necessary, the appropriate contractor.
Accepting packages, logging delivery notes, keeping order systems updated, PO and invoice management Help produce and distribute resident correspondence.
Ability to establish relationships with residents and to empathies with their needs and requests.
Any other duties commensurate with the post.
Requirements: A mature outlook, a good telephone manner and a flexible approach to duties.
