The Role – Anaerobic Digestion Lab Technician RenEco is currently looking for an Anaerobic Digestion Lab Technician to join our expanding AD and Lab Department.
Within this position the successful candidate will be an integral within our processing and treatment plant facilities with a key focus on Anaerobic Digestion.
RenEco's Lab Technician will be responsible for looking after the plant biology and day to day testing  of the AD Plant.
• To work effectively as part of a dedicated operational team across the entire AD and Power Plant processes.
• Optimise the biology to increase the rate of biogas production whilst promoting and maintaining ideal digester conditions from a broad range of feedstocks.
• Ensuring quality controls are met for optimum plant efficiency.
Immediate reporting of any non-conformant result.
• Daily site sampling, testing, record keeping and reports.
• Monitor and support the operational overview and control of the Anaerobic Digestion and Power Plants in accordance with the Site.  • To work closely with supporting management, operators and the business development team; performing tests on a range of materials to ensure that they meet the needs of plant operations and quality standards of final products (e.g., fertilising materials, speciality gases).
• Taking a pro-active approach to the resolution of process issues.
• Compliance with specific Health and Safety policies and Codes of Practice, including the development and implementation of Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operational Procedures.
The Person RenEco is looking for an enthusiastic candidate with lab experience and knowledge and ability of following standard testing protocols.
Proactive attitude and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Previous working experience in the AD industry or full scale industrial sites is desirable for this role.
