More about the role The successful applicant will oversee a team of Information Governance Officers, working together to ensure the timely and accurate renewals of Information Sharing Agreement and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
This is a collaborative task with the ACRO Strategy & Development team as well as our operational business areas.
The Information Governance Supervisor will be responsible for delivering Data Breach Training for all new starters, as well as providing Data Breach assessment and logging advice to all business areas.
In conjunction with the Information Manager and the Audit Supervisor the role holder will also deliver the monthly Compliance Audit Schedule, assessing and identifying risks and compliance gaps for ACRO data processing activities.

Essential Qualifications Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience Proven experience of assisting with the delivery of information governance strategy to include the drafting of appropriate policy documents and policies, and writing of procedures and reports.
In depth knowledge of the General Data Protection Legislation, with experience in reading and interpreting legislative texts.
Proven experience interpreting legal requirements for a business, particularly around information sharing and records management.
Proficient with Microsoft applications to include Word, Outlook and Excel.
