You will work as part of a small team and report to the Financial Officer.
* £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE) * Based in Chessington * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Study support package * Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm Job specification: * Perform daily reconciliation and posting of bank transactions.
* Aid in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns, monthly EC sales, and Intrastat reporting.
* Contribute to the preparation of accurate monthly accounts, ensuring tight deadlines are met.
* Reconcile control accounts.
* Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers.
* Prepare weekly reports for the management team.
* Assist with year-end processing and preparation of auditor information.
* Participate in the improvement of processes and procedures.
* Provide support for credit control and purchase ledger tasks.
Person specification: * Proven experience in a similar role (1 year plus) * Meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised and proactive.
* Ability to work in a collaborative team.
* Advanced Excel skills, possibly VLOOKUP.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ideally studying, or intending to study, for an accounting qualification.
