Accountant Hourly Rate: £26.30 Umbrella Contract Length: 12 months (no likely extension) Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: 36.5 hours/week.
Early finish on a Friday On-Site Requirement: Initial training: 4 days on-site (Friday WFH) for 4-6 weeks.
Post-training: 3 days on-site per week (flexible scheduling).
Role Overview You'll gain valuable insight into the financial processes behind complex global transactions.
This independent role offers variety, ownership of workload, and the chance to act as a trusted business advisor to Product Line teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Support financial inputs and outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Act as a trusted business advisor to Product Line teams.
Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data management (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
Work within internal systems and assist with the transition to SAP.
Requirements Minimum 5 years in bookkeeping/accounting (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
Nominal ledger experience is advantageous.
More than accounts payable experience – must demonstrate broader accounting capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently after training.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
AAT qualification is beneficial but not essential (experience-based qualifications acceptable).
Excellent written and verbal communication.
A positive and proactive attitude.
