Position Summary Oceaneering is seeking an experienced Account Manager for its Digital Solutions Business.
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our Digital Solutions by identifying key prospective customers, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and winning new business.

Digital Solutions is a part of the Integrity Management and Digital Solutions segment.
Our mission is to leverage digital products and services to enable our energy customers to be safer, greener, more efficient, and cost-effective across all their assets' life cycles.
The Digital Solutions portfolio includes a variety of data collection applications, communication services, and managed network services that address challenges specific to offshore environments, such as harsh conditions, remote locations, and the complexity of operations.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated person with a passion for digital transformation, software, sales, and business development and like to work in a fast-paced working environment with ambitious targets.
The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience in managed services and digital products in the following industries: Oil and Gas, Energy, Renewables, Processing, Chemicals or similar.
The candidate possesses a strong understanding of a customer's needs and perceived value.
Duties & Responsibilities FunctionsDuties •Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
•Responsible for business development and sales of Digital Solutions products and services.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities in region.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
•Collaborate in the development of sales strategies for the digital solutions portfolio.
•Work closely with account managers in adjacent groups for multi-services opportunities.
•Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
•Understand customers' needs and give feedback to Technology and Product Management teams.
•Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral.
•Work with marketing team to create and execute winning marketing strategies to drive profitable growth.
•Working with key stakeholders in the implementation and strategic development of digital products and services into the business group.
•Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
•Using our sales systems such as CRM, and Miller Heiman sales philosophy.
•Provide strategic, day-to-day and tactical business and product developmental support and leadership, including relevant internal and external stakeholders.
•Digest data provided by market intelligence team and report out market data on the business unit.
This includes establishing total available market size and Oceaneering market share for the business unit.
Develop and review market share data with BU head and develop strategic plans to increase market share.
•Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
This includes competitors market share in region, equipment volume and capabilities in region and any strategic alliances for competition.
•Consult on pricing strategy based on the customer's expectations, competitive situation, potential differentiators, and other factors.Communicate the pricing strategy to the proposal team and justify it to the senior management that must approve the proposal.
•Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our solutions.
•Consistently demonstrate a passion for the Company's core values.
Supervisory Responsibilities•None Reporting Relationship •Reports to Senior Manager – Regional Sales, UK/Europe and Africa •Matrix reporting: Senior Manager – Digital Solutions Qualifications REQUIRED •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Technical arena, or equivalent work experience.
•5+ years of effective sales experience with at least 1 year in the oilfield industry or digital sales.
•Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems, Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and Presentation software.
•Strong understanding of digital solutions, including software, cloud services, and digital transformation.
•Experience in Business Development analytics and commercial strategies.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•Technically savvy and consistently up to date on the products and services OII offers.
•Domestic travel 15%, international travel less than 5% of time.
DESIRED •MBA from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant experience.
•Experience leading a sales team.
Working ConditionsThis position is considered office work which will require travel to operating regions and central corporate locations or other such locations which is characterized as follows.
•Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
•Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
•Work surface is stable (flat).
•80% Hybrid/Office based •20% client locations.
