Position Overview To take inbound calls and emailsTo log, detail, progress and resolve support ticketsTo read and troubleshoot server log filesCorrectly prioritise and resolve tickets within the SLATo keep the CRM system and all relevant documentation up to dateCreate, troubleshoot and fix SQL queries and scriptsInstall new systems, as well as patch & upgrade existing systemsTo support the internal laptops, desktops and network equipmentCorrectly see all issues through to resolutionFixing overnight processes Position Requirements Be a fast, willing and adaptable learnerHave excellent communication skillsPrevious desktop / application support experienceBasic networking knowledge (IP Addresses, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, etc)Knowledge of different VPN software and establishing VPN connectionsMicrosoft SQL server and ability to write SQL queries and scriptsMicrosoft windows server and desktop operating systemsInternet information services skillsetCandidate will aim to have SQL or similar qualification within 6 months Position Remuneration Monday to Friday / 37.5 hrs a weekSalary £24,000 – 29,000 DOE25 days holiday including bank holidaysParking on sitePension schemeTraining programs Career Opportunities
